Still not well

It’s now my second full day here, and I’m still feeling the effects of my cold and the jetlag.
Yesterday was both frustrating and interesting. Frustrating because, as Mary-Anne already wrote, my notebook turned out to be very unreliable. I have managed to order the replacement part for the other notebook, though, so things should improve next week.
Mike is off fishing with his son today and tomorrow – they invited me to go along, but the way I’m feeling now, that would not be a good idea.
Yesterday, Michelle visited Mike and Chris. She works with Campus Crusade Network, and is also learning from Mike about simple church. She’s an impressive lady – she has only one leg, so needs crutches to get around, but worked among the poor in Calcutta for two years. We all watched the film ‘We were soldiers’ together (I only saw part of it, spending the rest of the time on the phone to Mary-Anne). It’s a war film, and quite bloody, but the relationships and events contain many lessons for Christian living and spiritual battle.
